What Does It Mean To Follow Jesus?
Share
We live in a world full of noise.
Everyone is chasing something. Status. Attention. Money. Validation. Comfort. Influence. We scroll through thousands of voices every single day telling us who we should be, what we should look like, and what we should live for.
But in the middle of all of it, the voice of Jesus still cuts through:
“Follow Me.”
Two words.
Simple to hear.
Difficult to live.
Following Jesus was never meant to be something we only claim with our words. It’s something we live out through our lives.
Today, following Jesus means choosing Him even when culture pulls the opposite direction. It means standing firm in your faith when compromise becomes normal. It means loving people radically, serving selflessly, and refusing to stay silent about the hope we’ve found in Him.
It means dying to ourselves daily.
Not just on Sundays.
Not just when it’s convenient.
Every day.
The truth is, Jesus never called us to blend in with the world. He called us to be different. To live differently. To love differently. To lead differently.
Following Jesus today means trusting Him when you don’t have all the answers. It means obeying even when it’s uncomfortable. It means walking by faith instead of feelings. It means carrying light into places that desperately need it.
And maybe most importantly, it means understanding that our faith was never meant to stay private.
Jesus said:
“Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” — Matthew 4:19
We weren’t called to hide our faith. We were called to live it boldly. To reach people. To love people. To point people back to Him through the way we live our lives.
That’s the heart behind the 99.
This brand was never just about clothing. It’s about creating reminders to live boldly for Jesus in a world that constantly asks us not to. It’s about building a movement of people willing to stand firm in their faith and become lights in dark places.
The world doesn’t need more people blending in.
It needs more people willing to follow and surrender to Jesus fully.
The question is:
Will we actually follow Him?
